Join us for Good Friday & Easter!
We look forward to celebrating the risen Savior together! Our Good Friday services will be held on April 18 at 5:00 and 7:00pm. On Easter Sunday, services will take place at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00am. There will be no ABFs, Student Ministries, or classes for Kindergarten–6th grade. But Calvary Kids classrooms for Nursery through Pre-K will be open. Serving opportunities are available. Ordination
Having evaluated his calling, character, theological convictions, and fit for ministry, the Elders intend to publicly recognize the ordination of Adam Derus, Director of Young Adult Ministries, on April 27. Our church constitution requires two weeks’ notice to the congregation to allow for comment regarding the candidate’s suitability for ordination. Please direct any comments to elders@calvarychurch.org.
Hymns of Faith
A county-wide hymn sing, will take place at Calvary Church on Sunday, May 4, at 3:00pm. Come sing some of your favorite hymns alongside our choir, orchestra, and others in the community.
Hurricane Relief Teams
Join us as we continue to serve North Carolina residents affected by Hurricane Helene! Additional teams are being assembled to serve alongside local NC churches on April 27-May 2, May 18-23, and June 15-20. Contact local@calvarychurch.org with any questions or to express interest.
Lead a Summer Small Group
Interested in leading a small group this summer? Groups will begin meeting in June, and leaders will have the opportunity to choose their topic, group size, and when and how often they’ll meet. A training will take place on Sunday, April 27, at 9:30am.Click below for more details or to express interest
Calvary Kids
Our Nursery attendance is growing, and we need to open additional classrooms on Sundays at both 9:30 and 11:00am. You can join our amazing team and make a lasting impact on a child’s life. Fill out the I’m In form to let us know you’re interested.
Student Baptism Event
God is at work in the lives of our students! Join Student Ministries for a night of baptism on Sunday, April 27, at 6:00pm in the Lower Auditorium. During this time of worship, we’ll hear the testimonies of several students as they publicly declare their faith in Jesus. We hope to see you there!
Widow & Widowers Luncheon
Widows & Widowers are invited to a Spring Luncheon on Saturday, May 10, at 12:00pm in Fellowship Hall. To RSVP, email Marian Gingrich or call the church office at (717) 560-2341 by April 28.
