The Widows Ministry is dedicated to serving our Lord and Savior by coming alongside widowed women of all ages. We look forward to getting to know you, walking beside you, and encouraging you on your journey. This ministry is led by the deacons of Calvary Church.
Group Activities and Events
Our Widows Ministry seeks to provide spaces for connection and support through various activities such as social gatherings, enjoying meals together, praying, sharing resources, and holding an annual banquet. Calvary also offers “GriefShare,” a 13-week group that meets in the fall and again in the spring. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
