Kids Choir is designed to give children the opportunity to develop their musical talents for the purpose of leading others in worship and bringing glory to the Lord through singing. Our Kid’s Choir will have the opportunity to lead in worship services 4 times a year. Registration is required to join Kid’s Choir and will be open at different times of the year so that if you miss a session, you can register for the next one.
Kids Choir will rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-6:30pm during the school year. There will be four rehearsals and a dress rehearsal before each time the children sing in church. We are asking the children to commit to being at these rehearsals if they plan to sing on the Sundays they are scheduled to lead in church. There will be several weeks of break between sessions so they will not be rehearsing every week. Please see the schedule of rehearsals and Sunday services to determine your child's availability before registering.
Please be aware that, on the Sundays that the children sing in the worship services, they will need to be in the auditorium for soundcheck at 7:00am to be ready to sing for the 8:00am service. We understand that this is early, but it is necessary so that we can do our line-up and run through our songs. This will only happen a total of four times per year, so we hope that you will be able to commit to having your child there for soundcheck.
For rehearsals, the grades will be combined in the following way:
- Kindergarten and 1st Grade
- 2nd and 3rd Grade
- 4th through 6th Grade
Children who choose to register for Kids Choir can also participate in Discovery Clubs, which meet on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. If your child stays for Discovery Clubs, they will be taken to their classes by their Kids Choir teachers at the end of choir. All other children should be picked up promptly at 6:30pm in their Kids Choir rooms. Any children not picked up by 6:35pm will be taken to Discovery Clubs.

Rehearsal 3 - November 13 - 6:00-6:30pm
Rehearsal 4 - November 20 - 6:00-6:30pm
Rehearsal 5 - December 4 - 6:00-7:00pm (On Stage)
Sunday Worship Services - December 8, 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00am
There will be no rehearsal the week of Thanksgiving (Nov. 27)
