The Pastoral Counseling and Care Ministry at Calvary exists to come alongside individuals facing a variety of needs with the goal of assisting them in becoming fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
If an individual seeks or is in need of pastoral counseling, Calvary Church may be able to help in the following ways:
- Assessment and referral services are available to all.
- We are glad to discuss your concerns and recommend support groups, counselors, books or other resources that may be helpful.
- Pastoral counseling is available on a limited basis to those who are a part of Calvary Church or one of our outreach ministries (for example: Study & Share, C4, DivorceCare, etc.)
- After initial consultation, if it is determined that ongoing pastoral counseling would be helpful, your pastoral counselor may refer you to a professional counselor outside the church, or may begin pastoral counseling with you for a limited time.
Pastoral counseling is given from a biblical perspective that is guided by principles of the Word of God, seeking to help you meet the challenges of life in a way that will please and honor our Lord Jesus Christ. It is our desire to help you strengthen your relationship with God and others, through this process.
