Our desire is to hold at least 30 B.L.A.S.T. groups throughout
How can adults and teens get involved? Read on ~ then complete the attached form and return it to the B.L.A.S.T. table in the lobby.
1. Be on a preparation team. These teams will prepare and organize materials during the months of April, May and June. Much of this preparation can be done in your own home. Materials to be prepared are:
-Bible teaching visuals
-Craft supplies
-Game materials
-Promotional and Registration materials
-Decorating supplies

2. Offer to host a B.L.A.S.T. We would greatly encourage you to host a B.L.A.S.T. as a team by partnering together with other
-You may pick any week in July, and may have your B.L.A.S.T. for 2 hours in the morning, afternoon or evening.
-Invite the children in your community to join your B.L.A.S.T.
-Choose to either be a part of your B.L.A.S.T. leadership team or to be freed up to get to meet and greet the parents of the children in your community. In that case, we will provide a B.L.A.S.T. leadership team for you.
3. Be a part of a B.L.A.S.T. leadership team. This team includes:
-Bible teacher(s) who teach the daily Bible lesson and/or Bible verse. All curriculum and necessary materials will be provided. We will have several of our CEF-trained Calvary teens available to teach B.L.A.S.T.s AND we are hoping to have a number of
-Story teller who will tell one part of a continuing missionary story each day.
-Skit narrator who has a sense of humor, and can enthusiastically read the narration each day. Each day, kids from the B.L.A.S.T. will be chosen to act out the narration.
-Game leaders who will use our prepared active and fun games as icebreakers and for activity times throughout the week.
-Craft leaders who will set up and teach the craft each day. We will have teams preparing all of the necessary materials ahead of time.
-Support workers who will help where needed. This will include interacting with the children, taking attendance, serving snacks, and assisting in all activities.
4. Be on our Prayer team. We desire people who will commit to praying for the workers and children involved in the B.L.A.S.T. ministry in July. You may choose the week you would like to commit to praying, and we will give you workers’ and kids’ names!
5. Sign your children and their friends up to participate in a B.L.A.S.T. for one week. Once we know the locations and times for each B.L.A.S.T., we will begin registration.
